Connect Telagus to ChatGPT and Claude
Telagus MCP in ChatGPT
Telagus is listed in the ChatGPT plugin directory. Install it once, sign in, and it is there in your chats — no developer mode and no server address to paste.
1. Install the plugin
- Open the Telagus plugin page and log in to ChatGPT — or click Plugins in ChatGPT's left sidebar, search for Telagus and click the + beside it.
- Check it is the one by Telsa Media, then click Install plugin.
2. Sign in (first time only)
- Log in with your own Telagus account in the window that opens, and approve access.
- You are taken back to ChatGPT and stay connected.
On ChatGPT Business, Enterprise and Edu, a workspace admin may need to allow the Telagus plugin before it can be installed.
3. Use it
Ask in plain English, naming Telagus and the record you mean. Leads are what most people ask about:
Leads
- "Which Telagus leads came in this month, and who are they assigned to?"
- "Show me lead 1043 — contact, company and current status."
- "List my open leads with no activity in the last 14 days."
- "How many leads are at each status in my pipeline?"
- "Add a lead for Jane Doe at Acme Ltd and assign it to me."
The last one writes to your CRM, so ChatGPT asks before it does.
Tasks, projects, quotes and invoices work the same way — "show me task 42 with its sub-tasks", "which invoices are overdue?". Include the lead or task ID; without one you will be asked for it.
If something goes wrong
- ChatGPT doesn't use Telagus — say "in Telagus" in your question and give the lead or task ID.
- Telagus isn't in the directory, or Install is greyed out — your workspace admin hasn't allowed it yet.
- ChatGPT can't reach Telagus — open Plugins, find Telagus and reconnect.
- Wrong or no data — check which Telagus account you signed in with.
Telagus MCP in Claude
Claude calls a remote MCP server a connector. Add it once and it works in the desktop app, the web app and on your phone.
1. Add Telagus as a connector
- Click Customize in the left sidebar.
- Open the Connectors tab.
- Click the black Add button, top right — not the + on Google Drive, Slack and the rest, which adds those.
- Name: Telagus
- Remote MCP server URL:
https://api.telagus.com/mcp/telagus - Click Add. Telagus appears under Your custom connectors.
Custom connectors need Claude Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise. On Team and Enterprise an owner may have added Telagus already, in which case it is waiting for you here.
2. Sign in (first time only)
- Click Connect on the Telagus connector.
- Log in with your own Telagus account in the browser window that opens, and approve access.
- A green tick beside Telagus means it worked. You stay connected.
3. Use it

- Claude can't reach Telagus — open Customize → Connectors and connect again.
- No Add button — your plan or your organisation's owner doesn't allow custom connectors.
- Claude answers from memory — say "in Telagus" and give the lead or task ID.
Good to know
- You only ever see data your own Telagus account can see.
- Questions only read your CRM. Anything that creates, changes or sends asks for your approval first.
- You never share your Telagus password, and you can cut the connection at any time by removing Telagus from ChatGPT or Claude.
